Hello! I'm Rachel Hay-Gillies.
My husband, David, and I have two gorgeous little dogs who mean the absolute world to us. We have Hugo, the French Bulldog/Dachshund cross and we have Hector, the Miniature Dachshund.
Before having Hugo and Hector, I also had four beautiful cats - Candy, Ben, Max and Stanley.
David and I got married in March 2024. I searched for a long time for a way that our dogs could be involved in the most special day of our lives, but sadly I could not find any suitable options where they could be involved in the wedding and also be safe and well looked after.
I love looking back on our wedding pictures, but I always feel a little guilty because our two special boys could not be there for our special day.
This made me think about other people who love their pets as much as I do and would feel the same way. And so... Pets of Honour was born. A service to allow your pets to feel safe, comfortable and be involved in your special day.
